Rajinder Pal Singh Rana

After achieving a Bachelor of Science from Guru Nanak Dev University, Rajinder Pal Singh Rana graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from Faculty of Law at the Delhi University in 1978.  Within a year, Mr. Rana founded Rana Law Office in Jalandhar, Punjab and appeared in several courts across India, including the District Courts of Jalandhar and Punjab and the Haryana High Court.

With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Rana is known for his investigative skills and exceptional oral advocacy at both the trial and appellate court level.  Mr. Rana was standing counsel for the Punjab State Electricity Board and Bharat Sanchar Nigam as well as other government and private financial institutions.  In addition, Mr. Rana has extensive experience in matters of civil property disputes, land acquisitions, tort, commercial disputes, and criminal defence.

As co-managing partner of Rana Law Office, Mr. Rana routinely represents his clients at trial as well as on first appeal and appeal to the highest court of law, including the Supreme Court of India.

Sadhna RANA

Sadhna Rana is an advocate in Jalandhar, Punjab and co-managing partner of Rana Law Office.  Ms. Rana achieved her L.L.B from Faculty of Law at the University of Delhi in 1980, when she joined Rana Law Office.  With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Rana is considered an expert in the fields of family law, property and consumer litigation, and criminal defence.

Ms. Rana was standing counsel for Bharat Sanchar Nigam, and has handled several high profile session trials before special and designated courts in Punjab, Shimla, and Delhi.  In addition, Ms. Rana continues to dedicate extensive efforts to defend women's rights in India and advocate against injustice.

    • Successfully appealed a number of times against decision of trial courts court’s conviction/judgement in food adulteration cases, misappropriation of articles of wife and cruelty on demand of dowry and securing a favourable outcome for the clients.
    • Successfully appealed against conviction of client on charges of having violated and tampered income tax returns and secured their acquittal.
